5 Ways CSMs Can Build Momentum with Customers

One aspect of sales is building momentum with a prospect to close the deal.

Customer Success Managers need to build momentum with our clients too. 

We can be the partner our customer needs to move full speed ahead.

Building momentum requires us to be: 

  • Persistent: we can professionally check-in, follow-up and sync with our customers to help push toward goals.  
  • Consistent: we can be a reliable presence with our customer actively involved in their business.   
  • Resilient: achieving goals requires commitment to staying on task. We can handle setbacks and show our customer we are with them all the way. 
  • Organized: we need to know where we are now and where we are going together. 
  • Insightful: what new ideas can we work on with our customer to move successfully ahead? 

CSMs can be the momentum builders customers need to push forward.
