In the 1990’s Blink-182 asked “What’s My Age Again?” as a CSM we can ask “What’s My Value Again?”
CSMs are trained to help customers get value from the product.
We can also think of ourselves as our own product.
For example, is the customer getting value from the CSM?
We can prepare for customer interactions, get back to the customer quickly and be an advocate to solve the customer’s problems.
We can take our value up a level and be a strategist, source of ideas and partner in helping our customer manage to their goals.
We can think about our own CSM usage rate and deliver value to the customer through our own efforts.
